Hasin Jahan, estranged wife of cricketer Mohd Shami, was taken into custody by police in Amroha in Uttar Pradesh after she reached her husbands house and created a ruckus. She was later released on bail.
According to reports, Hasin Jahan arrived at her husband’s house in Sahaspur village late on Sunday night. She was asked to leave by her in-laws, to which she responded by locking herself up in a room with her child.
Hasin Jahan arrested after high drama
The police was called and they took Hasin Jahan into custody when the officials failed to control the situation.
“I have come to my husband’s house and I have every right to stay here. My in-laws are misbehaving with me and the police is supporting them. They should have arrested them but they are taking me to the police station,” said Hasin Jahan.
Mohammed Shami currently is playing for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL.
Hasin has accused Shami of having multiple affairs and cheating on her. Moreover, she alleged that Shami is involved in match-fixing.
