Television actress Hina Khan has recently been accused by a jewellery brand of cheating it by not returning ornaments worth over Rs 12 lakh after promoting their brand at an event.
The jewellery brand has also sent a notice to Hina, giving 15 days time to her to return the jewellery.
Earlier, Hina denied these allegations and gave a statement where she was determined to take a strict action against them for using her name as a publicity stunt.
And finally, the actress has sent a legal notice to the jewellery brand. Hina shared a copy of her legal notice on Instagram and Twitter and wrote, “Since it started in public forum, I am forced to share my response too but d right way. my advocate @sarthak7468 from Supreme Court of India . Sent a legal notice with proper stamp n signature to them.so this is how a legal notice looks like, not like an unsigned unstamped fake notice created just for cheap publicity..We really work hard to reach where we r n just because ‘a celeb’ is n easy target u will not get to use it to ur benefit… The law works wonders for an innocent who is wrongly accused and it gets better if you have proper proofs. Attaching the courier receipt for my notice.Surprisingly it never appeared for the imaginary notice sent to me. No hawa hawaai only seedhi baat #SatyamevJayate #NotAnEasyTarget”.

Earlier, Hina’s stylist had said that the actress never wore the jewellery and that her assistant had lost it. She had also filed an FIR against her assistant who had collected the jewellery from Hina’s house.
Meanwhile, Hina talked about the incident with our news website ABP News where she said: “Firstly I didn’t wear their jewellery as I didn’t like them and opted for another one. My stylist Hemlata’s assistants misplaced it in auto rickshaw. She is trying hard to return it and she has already paid about Rs 2.86 lakh. Media houses are discussing legal notice which has reached to them unfortunately and not me. I just want to say, show me the signatures of receiving on it. But definitely this incident has defamed me, so, my lawyers are looking into it. They don’t know what is going to happen to them. They are definitely going to receive a legal notice from me. I will make sure they apologise.”
The actress has recently appeared in a Punjabi music video Bhasoodi with singer Sonu Thakral.
