Hrithik Roshan‘s last film Kaabil got him a lot of accolades for his role in the Sanjay Gupta film. The actor played a blind man in the film, who is set out on a revenge after his wife’s death. The crime thriller, despite clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, crossed Rs 100 crore collections at the box office.
Now, the actor is keen to try new genres of films soon. Although in his career span of 17 years Hrithik has attempted several genres ranging from love stories to sci-fi’s, rom-com to thrillers, the actors yearning to try something new still continues.

While talking to DNA, he revealed “I have a fascination for psychological thrillers. I think if made well, they can be great films. I would love to do one soon. In fact, I have been itching to do one for years now.” So is the actor a fan of thrillers does he have any favourite from this genre and he quickly adds, “I am a huge fan of The Sixth Sense. I think it’s unbelievable what they did with that film. So if we can create something like that, I would readily do it. No one needs to cajole me at all.”
At the same time, the Krrish 4 actor feels that this genre has not been explored well in Bollywood. Hrithik reveals, “It’s one of those neglected categories we have. I don’t think as an industry, Bollywood has made some amazing ones. We need to have a powerful script in place for that because that’s the main requirement and once we get that correct, everything else will fall in place.”
