Irrfan Khan shares first picture from London with an inspirational poem!

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan recently revealed that he is suffering from NeuroEndocrine Tumour. In his statement on Twitter, he also revealed that he is going out of the country to undergo treatment and hopes to return with new stories.

The actor is currently in London undergoing treatment and now he shared his first picture from there.

Irrfan shared an inspirational poem on Instagram with a photo of his reflection. He also made it clear that he is in the UK for treatment, not the US as assumed earlier.

He captioned the pic as, “God speaks to each of us as he makes us, then walks with us silently out of the night. These are the words we dimly hear: You, sent out beyond your recall, go to the limits of your longing. Embody me.n Flare up like a flame and make big shadows I can move in. Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final. Don’t let yourself lose me. Nearby is the country they call life. You will know it by its seriousness. Earlier, after revealing that he has a ‘rare disease’, Irrfan Khan on Friday revealed that he is suffering from Neuroendocrine Tumour.

“The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research ? To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.” he wrote.

 Neuroendocrine tumours are abnormal growths that begin in specialized cells called neuroendocrine cells. Neuroendocrine cells have traits similar to nerve cells and to hormone-producing cells. Neuroendocrine tumours are rare and can occur anywhere in the body. Most neuroendocrine tumours occur in the lungs, appendix, small intestine, rectum and pancreas. Neuroendocrine tumours can be noncancerous (benign) or cancerous (malignant). Diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumours depend on the type of a tumour, its location, whether it produces excess hormones, how aggressive it is and whether it has spread to other parts of the body.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Irrfan will soon be seen in his upcoming film Blackmail, which is slated to release on April 6, 2018.
