Daughter of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, Isha Ambani will tie knot with industrialist Ajay Piramal’s son Anand Piramal on December 12. Now, if latest reports are to be believed, after their wedding, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will move into a plush  sea-facing apartment in Worli, Mumbai.

Yes, the couple will move into a plush bungalow after their wedding and this swanky mansion is a gift from Isha’s in-laws, Ajay and Swati Piramal, who purchased the INR 450 crore bungalow from Hindustan Unilever in 2012.

Currently, the house is undergoing renovations and the Griha Pravesh puja will take place on December 2, 2018, and from December 12, 2018, the newly-weds will shift in their new home.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) gave permission to the Piramals to occupy it on September 19.

Gulita is spread over 50,000 square feet. The sprawling mansion has five floors and faces the Arabian Sea. Further, the basement of the building has a lawn and a multi-purpose room, while the other floors house living and dining halls, bedrooms, circular studies and triple-height multi-purpose rooms.

The couple got engaged in a grand ceremony at Lake Como, Italy in September this year. Meanwhile, Their pre-wedding celebrations will be a two-day affair and will be held in Udaipur from December 8 to 9.

Anand and Isha have reportedly been friends for quite some time and their families share a strong bond of friendship for over four decades.

Anand holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has a masters in Business administration from the University of Harvard. Anand is an executive director in the Piramal Group.

While, Isha is a board member in Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail. She graduated from Yale University with double majors in psychology and South Asian studies in 2013 and is currently pursuing an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, which she will complete in June this year.
