Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, bollywood actress Isha Koppikar has joined BJP as head of Women Transport Wing.
She was inducted into the party in the presence of Union minister Nitin Gadkari.

“I will try my best to fulfill all the responsibilities the party gives me. I will also make sure that I can do all that is in my capacity to serve the country,” she said at a Mumbai event.
BJP senior leader, Vinod Tawde welcomed Isha Koppikar with a tweet. Sharing a picture he wrote, “Welcomed Isha Koppikar ji in the BJP, entrusting her the responsibilities of ensuring the welfare of the commuters in the Mumbai city, in her role as the Working President of BJP Women Transport Wing. Her efforts will help addressing the issues of women effectively. All the best!”

Debuting in Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma’s “Company” in 2002, Koppikar is known for her roles in “Don” (2006), and “Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi” (2008).
