Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar starrer ‘Dhadak’ has been released in cinemas. The film is an official remake of the hit-Marathi movie Sairat directed by Nagraj Manjule. Unlike the original Marathi film SairatDhadak is set in Rajasthan.

Story of the movie: The film follows the story of a middle-class boy Madhukar (Ishaan) and a rich girl Parthavi (Janhvi). As they both study in college together, they start falling in love and find ways to spend time with each other. When Parthavi’s family came to know about their love, they proceed to thrash Madhukar and his friends. After much resistance and struggle, the two elope and start a new life. Do they cope, survive or give in? Do their parents accept them? For this, you have to watch the film.

Star Performance: The movie marks the debut of veteran actress Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and she has done complete justice to her role. Both Janhvi and Ishaan are already stars. And their innocence and love will steal your hearts. While, Ashutosh Rana, who played the role of Parthavi’s father was best at his role. Others like Aishwarya Narkar and others have done complete justice to their roles.

Music Direction: The film’s music is good. Songs like Dhadak, Zingaat and Pehli Baar are already hit among the audience.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. The beautiful locales of Udaipur is well pictured in the film. Cinematography is also awesome. Dialogues are also good. Production values and background score is amazing. All over the director succeeds in making the film.
