Bollywood actor John Abraham and Diana Penty’s one of the much awaited film ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ trailer is out.
The trailer opens with Boman Irani’s voice announcing that whoever takes up ‘this’ job will not get any rewards, medals or even designations. Soon, we meet John who explains why India needs to conduct these nuclear tests and then goes undercover with a team of military offices to ensure the tests are conducted properly, without any hurdle.
The film revolves around the successful nuclear tests conducted in Pokhran, Rajasthan in 1998. It has been shot at multiple locations including Delhi, Jaisalmer and Pokhran and also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani in key roles.
[ecp code=”4″]The film has been in the news recently, owing to legal fights between John’s production company, JA Entertainment and Prernaa Arora’s KriArj Entertainment.
Due to this, the film has been delayed several times. However, after a grueling court case, KriArj Entertainment was dropped from Parmanu.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran will hit the screens on May 25.
