The fallout between B-town’s old BFF Karan Johar and Kajol’s friendship made headlines last year and now it seems there is not a single scope of reconciliation.
Karan and Kajol have tragically ended their 25 years of friendship. What’s even worse is the fact how a brutally honest Karan even decided to rant about this fallout through his book titled ‘An Unsuitable Boy’. While KJo was quite forthright about their broken friendship, Kajol had maintained a stoic silence on the subject so far.
The actress finally opened up recently in an interview with a daily when she spoke about how every relationship takes a lot of hard work to succeed. When asked about her ongoing cold war with Karan, the ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ actress said “I think relationships are generally difficult, nothing to do with Bollywood.”

The actress was reluctant to open up much regarding the ongoing cold war between her and the ace filmmaker, “I wouldn’t like to comment anything on what happened with Karan (Johar),”she said.
The rift began when Kajol‘s husband Ajay Devgn made allegations on Karan Johar that he had bribed Kamaal R Khan to tweet negatively about “Shivaay”, to strengthen “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s” position. Kajol took her husband’s side and retweeted her husband’s tweet with only one message – “Shocked.”
Karan, in his autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy, has opened up about his relationship with Kajol and finally said that Kajol “can never come back” to his life. Karan quoted, “I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years.”
In another section, he writes, “That tweet validated the insanity, that she could believe I would bribe someone. I felt that’s it. It’s over. And she can never come back to my life. I don’t think she wants to either. I never want to have anything to do with them as a unit. She was the one who mattered to me but now it’s over.”
Kajol and Karan met in 1995 when he was an assistant on “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
Kajol has worked with Karan in multiple projects including “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”, “My Name is Khan” and special appearances in “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” and “Student of the Year”.
