Kalki Koechlin & Sumeet Vyas starrer ‘Ribbon’ has been released in cinemas. Directed by Rakhee Sandilya, the film revolves around the complexities of today’s couple.

Story of the movie: The story of the film revolves around a live-in couple Karan Mehra (Sumeet Vyas) and Sahana (Kalki Koechlin). Karan works in the construction company, while Sahana is in the investment field. They fell in love and one day Sahana realizes that she is pregnant. She goes all berserk, telling her husband that she is not yet ready for the responsibility. The husband, Karan (Sumeet Vyas), manages to convince her after some fights and discussions. The new parents then take us through the not-so-beautiful challenges of parenthood — from changing nappies to hiring nannies and more. In such a situation, what changes comes in Karan and Sahana’s life. For this you have to watch the film.

Star Performance: Kalki is quite comfortable in her role. While, Sumeet delivers a brilliant performance.He has worked in several web series and his acting is good in the film too.

Music Direction: The music of the film is kept according to the story. The songs of the movie do not bore you, they go along with the story.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. Story line is fine, but there is no newness in the story. Several shocking elements are found in the middle, which give visitors a surprise. More work could be done on story and dialogues of the film.
