Ace comedian Kapil Sharma who stays away from limelight from quite some time is all set to make a comeback on TV with the second season of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
The actor himself announced the same on the social media. He has also backed a Punjabi film, featuring Gurpreet Ghuggi, titled Son of Manjeet Singh. During the promotion of the film, he talked to the media and answered questions about his new show, the difficult time he faced and his marriage.
While talking about his comeback, he said, “People have given a lot of love to me. They used to ask me, ‘When is your show coming back?’ and they asked the same question to the channel (Sony Entertainment Television) as well. And so, the channel told me, ‘Let’s make a new season’”
While talking about his public fights, he said “I feel everyone fights someday or the other. We are public figures and that is why our fights make it to the papers. But I feel everyone has fought once in life — be it within family, business or workspace. Small-small things keep on happening. But since we are public figures, these things become news in our case”
[ecp code=”4″]During the promotion, when Kapil was asked about his marriage, he said “My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realised that ‘abhi age ho rahi hai’ (I am getting on in age). So, I thought what if she says ‘no’ and after one or two years, and no one agrees to get married to me”
Kapil announced his engagement with girlfriend Ginni Chatrath last year in March. Then, he introduced Ginni to his fans in a lovely tweet which read, “Will not say she is my better half .. she completes me .. love u ginni .. please welcome her .. I love her so much:).”
The wedding date is not fixed yet, but if reports are to be believed, he will tie the knot in December.
Kapil and Ginni have known each other for years. They fell in love while working together in the comedy show ‘Has Baliye’. The show was judged by David Dhawan and Karishma Kapoor.
