Kapil Sharma starrer ‘Firangi’ first teaser poster is out. Directed by Rajiv Dhingra, Firangi has been produced by Kapil’s production house K9 Films.
The Twitter handle of the film Tweeted the poster of Firangi which was retweeted by Kapil’s girlfriend Ginni Chatrath.
In the poster, the flag of the United Kingdom in initials of Firangi and an open ground is seen.
Firangi is the story of a local boy (played by Sharma) who falls in love with an NRI girl (Gill). Ishita Dutta is also said to have a meaty role in the movie.
[ecp code=”4″]The sets of the film were constructed near the banks of the Sutlej river in Punjab and a major portion of the film was shot there.
Firangi will be Kapil’s second film after Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. He was launched by director duo Abbas-Mustan of the Baazigar fame.
Sharma also recently revealed that he will be singing an unplugged version of ‘Saheba Russ Gayi Hai‘ for the movie. The song will reportedly have a Coke Studio-like feel to it. The original was sung by music maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Firangi is slated to hit the theatres on November 10.
