Comedian Kapil Sharma, was rushed to a hospital in Andheri, following a bout of uneasiness while shooting for his show, The Kapil Sharma Show, on the sets in Goregaon Film City.
He was suffering from low blood pressure. The shooting for the episode had to be cancelled immediately and, his co-star Kiku Sharda confirmed the news to a leading portal, he said, “Yes, Kapil was feeling uneasy so he was taken to the hospital and was admitted. But there’s nothing to worry. He is fine now.” However Kapil is yet to be discharged now!
Now it looks improbable that he will be able to attend the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards that is scheduled to be held today.
Kapil, who had been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons, was to receive the award today for his “outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema and TV”. This is the second time that the stand-up comedian is to receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke honour.
Kapil had received this award back in 2014, too. At that time, the popular comedian reached the venue so late that the VIPs and other dignitaries had exited the venue. And due to that, Kapil had to collect his trophy from a stage coordinator backstage.
It was heard that Kapil has assured the organisers that this time such things won’t happen and he will be on time to collect the award.
But it seems owing to his bad health, this time also he won’t be able to collect the award.
