Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar finally unveiled his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The filmmaker was accompanied by his mother Hiroo Johar.

The filmmaker becomes India’s first film-maker to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Singapore.

Karan took to social media and shared his wax statue pictures on Instagram with a caption, “WAXED!!! At @mtssingapore #madametussauds !! What fun with my mom @hiroojohar and my family!!!!! @anushkaskhanna @priyankaskhanna #masi #payal and my surprise from friends who are too shy to be named!!!”

In the pictures, Karan and his mom Hiroo posed with KJo’s wax statue.

As we all know that Karan is obsessed with selfies and shows the photogenic profile of his face, his wax statue is made in a way it shows that he is clicking a selfie.

At Madame Tussauds Singapore, Karan Johar’s wax figure joins prominent personalities like Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Oprah Winfrey, Cristiano Ronaldo and others.

In a recent interview to a daily, Karan Johar said that the statue is a very special gift for his twins Roohi and Yash and his mom Hiroo Johar.

On the work front, Karan is currently gearing up for his upcoming period drama film Kalank, which is all set to hit theatres on April 17.
