The Supreme Court has given a big decision in the favor of the film Padmaavat. The court ordered that the film will release in all states on January 25 and suspended the ban orders by four states.
Well, this didn’t go well down with Rajput Karni Sena and they are continuing protesting against the film. Till yet, we have heard that Rajput leaders threatening to cut the nose of Deepika Padukone and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali when the controversy for Padmaavat was raging.
And now another so-called Rajput leader has threatened to bury Deepika and Bhansali alive if Padmaavat releases on January 25.
In a discussion on CNN-News 18, Thakur Abhishek Som had issued this threat to the celebs. The man, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, had said, “We will bury Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone alive if the movie is released.”

“We’ve always opposed the idea of making a film on Padmavati because she is our Goddess. Our ancestors worshipped her, we worship her and our future generations will continue to worship her. You don’t play with our self-respect and pride… We respect the Supreme Court but they (the judges) must respect our sentiments. They themselves are victims. Only a few days ago, they had come out in the open to express their grievances in front of the country.” he added.
In another report, Sukh Dev Singh Gogamedia, President of Karni Sena, said that they will meet the President to get the film banned. “We will also approach the President (to demand ban on screening of Padmaavat) … We shall never allow the movie to be screened. How can you deliver the verdict by forcefully imposing the decision on state governments? This is more like killing democracy… What is the use of forming governments if they are not allowed to take decisions? Let the Supreme Court rule the country.”
He also mentioned that thousand of women would perform jauhar in Chittorgrah if the film hits theatres. “We have already sent a letter to the Prime Minister and will soon be meeting the President in this regard,” said Gogamedia.
