Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath has been released in cinemas and receiving a good response from the audience.
However, as per the latest updates, the film has been banned in Uttarakhand.
Recently, a petition had been filed in the High Court seeking that the film should be banned as it hurt the sentiments of Hindus. Priests of Uttarakhand Chardham have said that the film hurts Hindu religious sentiments as it promotes ‘love jihad’. It was however dismissed by the court.
Kedarnath banned in Uttarakhand
Well now, the film has been banned in the 7 districts of Uttarakhand.

Kedarnath is the love story that is set against the backdrop of the devastating incident of 2013 floods. In the film, Sushant will be seen portraying the role of a pithu, who carries pilgrims to the shrine. While, Sara will play the role of a young woman, who will be accompanying a pilgrim to Kedarnath.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Kedarnath is being jointly presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, Guy in the Sky Pictures, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
