But, do you remember the introduction scenes of Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan) in Baahubali: The Beginning? The former queen of Mahishmati saves Mahendra Baahubali from drowning. In that scene she was holding a girl in her hand.

The new born baby who played Amrendra Baahubali in the movie is actually a girl from Kerala. Her name is Akshitha Valslan who is one and half years old now.

She was only 18 days old when she played the infant warrior prince Mahendra Baahubali. Akshitha is the daughter of Valslan and Smitha of Neeleswaram.

Valslan was the production executive for the movie in the Kerala location and that’s when the baby got the unique opportunity of being part of the movie.

We wonder what the reaction of this little girl would be when she grows up and realises that she was part of such a huge film!
