Veteran actor Aasif Sheikh who is currently playing the role of Vibhuti Narayan in serial ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ has grabbed lot of eyeballs for his great comic timing. In the show, Aasif plays the role of an unemployed insurance policy agent who spends his time doing household chores. His wife Anita (Soumya Tandon) is irritated with him.
It’s not the first time that the 51-year-old actor is seen doing comic roles on small screen.
With serials like “Chidiya Ghar”, “Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai”, “Khallballi: Fun Unlimited”, he has won accolades for her comic timing and powerful acting.
He is even known for his performances in bollywood films like “Karan Arjun”, J”ourney Bombay to Goa: Laughter Unlimited”, “Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa”, “Jodi No.1″, “Bandhan”, “Kunwara” among others.
But the actor feels that more than his acting skills, he is better known as a comedian and delivering good humour is a difficult task.

Talking to Dainikbhaskar, Aashif revealed many stories relating his career as an actor. You won’t believe that this actor swept the floors and served tea to Sheikhs in his struggling days.
You will be amazed to know that Aashif never wanted to be an actor. In fact he was an athlete as well as loved to dive. But due to an unfortunate injury, he had to take a back seat in sports.
During these days, Aashif started showing interest towards theatre and he often use to watch the theatre performance along with his bunch of friends. And that is how he made acting his career goal.
On the personal front, Aasif married with Zeba Sheikh around 25 years ago. The couple have two kids.
