The trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Laila Majnu is finally here. Well, this is the first time that filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and collaborated with producer Ekta Kapoor for the film.

The trailer begins with Tripti Dimri as Laila, the flirty new woman in town, and Avinash Tiwary as Kais, the man who wishes to take advantage of that. We see their love bloom but eventually, obstacles come calling. How they surpass these difficulties seems to be the crux of the film.

Laila Majnu is said to be a modern day re-telling of the classic love story of Laila-Majnu. The film is set in Kashmir.
Directed by Sajid Ali and presented by Imtiaz Ali and Ekta Kapoor, the film is slated to release on September 7.
