Veteran bollywood actress Rita Bhaduri who has appeared in many television shows and films has recently passes away on July 17 after fighting kidney-related ailment for last few days. She was 62. The actress was admitted at an ICU for the past 10 days in Mumbai and had to go for dialysis every alternate day.
Well, Rita was one of the famous actress in bollywood. She has appeared in around 70 films in her 30 years long career.
Apart from films, she was also a prominent face of TV as she had done roles in shows like Khichdi, Kumkum, Choti Bahu, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ek Nayi Pehchaan”, “Amanat”, “Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka”.
But what’s more interesting is that, the actress was often confused as Jaya Bachchan’s sister because of their surname.

She once told the media, “It has been so many years. People are confused. But, we have no connection. It is fine though, I am used to it.”
Rita Bhaduri was born on November 4, 1955, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
She was from the 1973 batch of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and her batch included actress, Zarina Wahab. Rita Bhaduri played the role of grandmother in the serial Nimki Mukhiya.
Rita Bhaduri had been associated with the Gujarati Film Industry. Even though not of Gujarati origin, she was one of the exceptionally successful actresses in the Gujarati film industry.
