Legendary actress Sridevi passes away on Feburary 24 due to accidental drowning in bathtub. The actress death has left the entire nation in shocked. Meanwhile, her family coping up with this great loss.

After 4 months of the actress demise, a BMC corporator from Mumbai demanded that the flyover atop Mogra nullah near Celebration Club at Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri west.

Dabhadkar, who is also the chairman of the K West ward committee, wrote to the Mayor demanding the same. He was quoted saying, “A flyover on Mogra nullah near Celebration Club at Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, should be named ‘Abhinetri Sridevi Udanpool” in memory of the renowned actress.”

He further added, “Sridevi, who started her career in Bollywood as a child artiste in the film Julie, acted in several popular movies. Along with Hindi films, she also acted in Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil films. In 2013, Sridevi was felicitated with the Padmashri award by the Centre for her achievements in the field of acting.”

Sridevi died on January 24, 2018 in Dubai due to accidental drowning in bathtub. She was 54. The actress was in Dubai to attend her nephew’s Mohit Marwah’s wedding. The actress untimely death has shocked millions of her fans.

The actress was one of the famous actress of Hindi Cinema. She ruled the hearts of millions. Her sudden death was a huge shock for her family and her industry colleagues. She was cremated with full state honours, wrapping her mortal remains with a tricolour.
