It has been two months, since bollywood actress Sridevi passes away. Meanwhile, her family coping up with this great loss. The actress passes away due to accidental drowning in bathtub on February 24, 2018 in Dubai.
The veteran actress was recently honoured at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2018. Sridevi’s daughters, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi with their father Boney Kapoor were supposed to be present at the function. However, filmmaker Subhash Ghai received the award on behalf of Sridevi’s family.
Sridevi received a special salute at Titan Reginald F. Lewis Film Honours and a special visual footage was screened in her honour in the presence of filmmakers from across the world.
Subhash Ghai took to Twitter to share pictures from the event and wrote, “It was an honour to receive award on behalf of legend @SrideviBKapoor at @Festival_Cannes yesterday for her outstanding contribution in indian cinema and shared my experience with impeccable inimitable actor to western audience hosted by Titan Reginald F. Lewis film honours.”

Reacting to the announcement of Cannes intending to honour Sridevi, Boney had earlier said, “I’m happy that people from the world over are recognising her body of work and her contribution to cinema. Even though the overwhelming emptiness of losing her remains, it’s comforting to know that she lives on through her work.”
Recently, Sridevi received Best Actress Award at the National Film Awards this year for her performance in Mom, which was her 300th film at the 65th National Film Awards.
