Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming project Indu Sarkar will release on July 21.
The film’s director took to Twitter and announced the release date and wrote “It’s an #Emergency!! Your date with an important chapter from post independence history of India, #InduSarkar releases on 21st July 2017.”

The movie is reportedly based on the Emergency era, a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency across the country.
The movie stars Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari and Bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury.
