“Beyond The Clouds”, the shooting for which began in January, features Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter in the lead with actress Malavika Mohanan. The film, which covers the nuances of an adorable brother-sister relationship, has been completely shot in India.
The entire cast and crew marked the occasion with an impromptu cake cutting ceremony with the legendary filmmaker.
Says the official spokesperson on behalf of Zee Studios and Eyecandy Films, “The shoot of the film is complete and is ready to get into post-production.”
During his stay here, Majidi had revealed that the inspiration behind the project was the late Indian legend, Satyajit Ray. “Filmmakers like Ray have represented India’s culture, its rich heritage and the lives of common people to a global audience. These visions and images have stayed in my mind for year. That’s what cajoled me to make a film in India,” he said.
‘Beyond The Clouds‘ will certainly have all eyes on it in the coming months.
