A major fire broke out at Mumbai’s RK Studio ground floor on Saturday afternoon. Reportedly the fire broke out on the sets of Super Dancer.
The cause of the fire has to be ascertained and to take control over the situation six fire tenders and five water have been deployed.
According to officials, the level-two fire was confined to electric wiring, electric installation, decoration equipment in 100×80 sq ft area on the ground floor of the building.
PS Rahangdale, the chief of the Mumbai fire brigade, said an alert call was received by the department around 2.22 pm and fire fighters reached the spot within five minutes.

The fire completely damaged hall number 1 of the studio located in Chembur area in the city. Work related to electrical wiring was ongoing in the studio when a small electric short circuit resulted into the blaze.

Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor’s spokesperson confirmed the news and also said that no member of the Kapoor family was at the studio at the time of the accident. He also stated that the situation is now under control.
The famous studio was initially founded and setup by the showman Raj Kapoor in 1948 and is currently operational under the supervision of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor.
