1. Sonali Bendre

 Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre has been diagnosed with high grade cancer that has metastised. The actress is currently undergoing treatment in New York. The actress news has sent shock to many.

2. Irrfan Khan

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan is suffering from NeuroEndocrine Tumour. His illness came as a shock to many. The actor is still under recovery and is currently in London undergoing treatment.

3. Manisha Koirala

The beautiful actress Manisha Koirala, who has delivered many hits in her film career was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. Manisha was 42-years old when she was diagnosed with cancer. She underwent the treatment in New York and ever since her diagnosis, she has been very brave about it. Now she is completely healthy and energetic.

4. Shah Rukh Khan

The King Khan of Bollywood underwent eight shoulder surgeries which including his ribs, ankle, knee, neck, eye and shoulder. He has long been suffering from a weak arm and back-pain. This is why, a doctor always present on his sets to attend to him immediately in case of any mishaps.

5. Sonam Kapoor

Many of us don’t know that fashion icon of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor has long struggled with diabetes. It is believed that she has this disease since her teenage. But due to her strict dieting plan, she is able to control the disease.

6. Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and is still being treated for it. This is a neuropathic disorder characterized by episodes of intense pain in many parts (jaws and cheeks) of face.  But his treatment, done from USA, has helped him cure to much extent.

7. Hrithik Roshan

The actor and famous dancer, Hrithik Roshan has suffered from Chronic Subdural Haematoma. This disease is associated with traumatic brain injury. Due to this condition, the actor had severe headache and went to the hospital for CT scan and MRI.

8. Rajinikanth

South megastar Rajinikanth had suffered from emesis in 2011. This actor was diagnosed with bronchitis and spent some days in ICU. He also went to Singapore for treatment.

9. Amitabh Bachchan

In 1984, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, which made him physically and mentally weak and sent him into depression. In 2000, he suffered from TB. The actor revealed to his fans that he was suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, caused by a blood transfusion following a near-fatal accident while shooting for ‘Coolie‘ in 1982.

10. Saif Ali Khan

‘Chote Nawaab’ of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan, had suffered a minor heart attack in 2007 and had to be rushed to the hospital. He is also suffering from Myocardial Infractions – a hereditary disease. But the proper medication has been of great help.

11. Lisa Ray

A famous actress and fashion model of India, Lisa, was diagnosed with a severe form of cancer, named multiple myeloma in 2009. This is a serious health complication that affects plasma cells negatively. She underwent a stem cell transplant that worked in her favour. The timely diagnosis and treatment helped her cure. Now she is living a healthy life.

12. Anurag Basu 

Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Basu was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic Leukemia (a type of blood cancer) in 2004. Doctors told him that he had only 50% chance of survival. But like his movies, he called the shots on life as well and fought the disease like a champ. He wrote scripts during his treatment for “Life In A Metro” and “Gangster”.
