Meet the ‘final’ FEMALE LEAD of Sony TV’s upcoming show ‘Porus’

Having entertained audience with its magnum opus shows like “Mahabharat”, “Razia Sultan” and currently “Karmphal Data Shani”, Swastik Productions, headed by producer Siddharth Kumar Tiwari is now gearing up for their mega historical series on Sony TV.

The upcoming mega show is set to unfold the life of king “Porus” and the team is currently on a casting spree.

The show has already roped in mega actors like Rati Pandey and Laksh Lalwani for pivotal characters.

Actress, Ishita Ganguly was initially said to be playing the role of a warrior princess and was cast opposite Laksh; however, according to a news portal, she has now been replaced.

According news in an entertainment portal, “Actress, Suhani Dhanki who is best known for her role in ‘Adhuri Kahaani Hamari‘ has now been roped in to play the female lead character of Laachhi. It will be a reunion for Laksh and Suhani, who have worked together in ‘Adhuri Kahaani Hamari’.”

Suhani’s role will be of a warrior princess opposite Laksh Lalwani. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.
