Meet Paresh Rawal’s wife Swaroop Sampat, who make the headlines for her bikini scenes

Bollywood actor and BJP parliamentarian Paresh Rawal found himself in the middle of a Twitter storm on Monday after he said that writer Arundhati Roy be tied to an army jeep, suggesting she be used in a manner similar to a Kashmiri man in the Valley last month.

Well, not only Paresh Rawal, but his wife Swaroop Sampat also made headlines for her bikini scenes in the film ‘Karishmaa’ (1984).

Swaroop won Miss India contest in 1979 and represented India in Miss Universe 1979.

In the mid 1980s, Swaroop worked in hit TV sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, in which she played the role of Shafi Inamdar’s wife.
