In the wake of #MeeToo movement, director Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual harassment by four different women. The names include Saloni Chopra, Simran Suri, Rachel White and Karishma Upadhyay.
And now, the latest to join the list is Priyanka Bose, who has worked in films like ‘Johnny Gaddaar’, ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha’, ‘Guzaarish’, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Lion’, ‘Gulaab Gang’, among others.
While talking to Miss Malini.com, Bose recalled a horrifying incident with Sajid Khan and said, “He called me for an audition. The text from his assistant read ‘Should be comfortable in a bikini.’ When I landed up with the required clothing, no sides were given. He walked in and lay down on the sofa. Over his trousers, he held his dick in his hand and said, “If I don’t get a hard-on looking at you, how will my audience?” I cried on my way home. I still can’t remember how I got out of there. It was all too foggy. I narrated what happened to my partner and he asked me to quit right away. But I didn’t. I garnered the courage to power through.”
The actress also accused her Gulaab Gang director Soumik Sen of behaving inappropriately with her on the sets. Talking about his “extra-friendly” behaviour, she said, “He kept telling me how sexy I am and how he wants to have an ‘extramarital’ affair with me. His pretext was that actresses and directors have a special relationship and I should milk it. I showed him a photo of my partner and told him if I had to have a relationship with someone which was a bit extra, it won’t be him.”
Apart from Sajid Khan, several Bollywood personalities such as directors Subhash Ghai, Vikas Bahl and Rajat Kapoor, actors such as Alok Nath and singers such as Kailash Kher and Abhijeet have been named in India’s #MeToo movement.
