While many have comes out in support of Tanushree. While, many are still maintaining stoic silence over the controversy.

In the latest development in the case, the actress lawyer has submitted an application in Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station to conduct Narco Analysis brain mapping and lie detector tests on choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Samee Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang.

The application sent through Dutta’s lawyer Nitin Satpute said the accused are “highly influential and high profile persons, and also have good political connection”. “There are witnesses/eyewitnesses of the incident on March 26, 2008, who are willing to come forward to record their statement…they will not come forward to record statement unless and until accused are arrested…” reads the application.

The application further states that the accused are denying charges levelled against them before the media and may put pressure on the witnesses, or the accused may produce bogus witnesses to record negative statements against Dutta. Therefore, a fair investigation must be carried out, by conducting narco-analysis, brain-mapping and lie detector tests on the accused and witnesses who are supporting the accused.

Meanwhile, Nana denied all the claims and had told reporters here that “I said this ten years ago… a lie is a lie (Dus saal pehle bol chuka hoon, ab jo jhoot hai woh jhoot hai’)”.
