Television actress Mohena Kumari who is known for her character of Keerti in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata is currently living the best time of her life.
The actress got married to Suyesh Rawat on October 14 last year. The couple exchanged the vows in a lavish ceremony in Haridwar.
Mohena Kumari Singh gives a befitting reply to a troll
Recently, on the occasion of New Year, Mohena took to her Instagram handle to share an inside picture from her wedding and wish everyone a ‘Happy New Year’. In the picture, Mohena was seen posing with her in-laws and her face was covered in a traditional ‘ghoonghat’ (veil).
However, this picture became a topic of discussion as the actress was sporting a veil over her head. A user asked her about sporting a veil, to which another user slammed her saying that these people follow the ‘so-called male-dominated rituals’ and that even after education, it didn’t get them brains.
Well, these nasty remarks didn’t goes well down with the actress and she gives a befitting reply to a troll. Responding on the same, Mohena commented saying, “Even Christians have a veil when they marry…and so do Muslims … I guess they are all uneducated too! It’s an age old Rajput tradition which Rajput women follow when they get married. This was not forced upon me… I chose to do it.”
