According to sources, the Bulgarian government had recently written to the Interpol to record Khan’s statement in connection with a wild boar hunting case in which the actor’s agent has been booked by the Bulgarian police.

The reports said that the actor’s statement was recorded as a witness. The news daily quoted an official, while concealing their identity, saying “The actor is a witness in a hunting case probed by the Bulgarian police. After the communication from the Interpol was received, the crime branch, Bandra unit, was asked to record the actor’s statement. A team of the Mumbai Crime Branch sleuths from the unit visited the actor’s suburban residence and recorded his statement.”

In Bulgaria, wild-boar hunting is allowed by the law. Only, one needs to get proper permits and licenses for the same. Foreigners can also acquire a permit and license that would last one month. “The agent has been booked for organising a hunt… without the requisite permits and licence. The Interpol has sought details on the case from the actor,” the news daily quoted another source.

Well, this is not the first time, when the actor’s name involved in a hunting case. Earlier, he was accused in Blackbuck Poaching case along with Salman Khan, Tabu, Neelam Kothari and Sonali Bendre, they all were acquitted by Jodhpur court except Salman.
