The current track of “Beyhadh” is keeping the viewers hooked due to its elaborate wedding sequence. The main protagonists of the show, Maya (Jennifer Winget) and Arjun (Kushal Tandon), are all set to tie the knot.
But unfortunately during the shoot of the show on February 7, when Jennifer and Kushal were sitting on the mandap, the set caught fire.
The particular scene was supposed to show fire breaking out, but unexpectedly, it happened too rapidly. Unprepared for the incident, Jennifer Winget froze right at the centre of the ‘mandap’ surrounded by flames when Kushal Tandon came to her rescue as a mandap fire scene got out of control.
While Kushal managed to get Jennifer out of the harm’s way, he did suffer burns on his neck and legs in the process.

A close source informs, “All the lead actors were shooting for a wedding sequence. According to the script, the mandap was supposed to catch a fire bringing a twist to the ongoing story. But shockingly, the fire caught the sets in reality. All three of them have been injured where Kushal burnt his neck, Jennifer burnt her back and Aneri injured her hands. The cast and crew members have stopped shooting for now.”
With the video that Kushal shared on Instagram, he related how unbelievable and terrifying it was for him to see it happening in real life. He felt fortunate to have managed to save his co-star. The actor also blamed the action director for not coming to help Jennifer, who turned numb due to shock.

Later in a tweet, Jennifer thanked Kushal for the gesture and said that she owed him big time.
