Television hottie Shakti Arora and air-hostess-turned-actress Neha Saxena got engaged in 2014 and were set to tie the knot in November last year.
However, the wedding was postponed because of the demonetization drive, the duo even posed for their pre-wedding photo-shoot earlier this year looking every bit of a made for each other couple but their fairy tale romance doesn’t seem to have a happy ending!
As according to a report published in Bombay Times, after four years of standing by each other through thick and thin, the once madly-in-love couple Shakti and Neha have called it quits. According to reports, the couple was facing a major compatibility issues between them over the last few months and the situation became so bad that both Shakti and Neha felt it was better to take time off each other.
Informs a source close to the couple, “Over the past few months, a lot of differences cropped up between them, which led to constant tiffs.”[ecp code=”4″]
Neha had even taken off to Indonesia, where Shakti is currently shooting for a TV series, but spending quality time together apparently had no positive effect. The source adds, “Neha is now back in India and they have decided to take a break from each other; they need time to think about where their relationship is headed. Distance is also taking a toll on their equation.”
Both the actors have already deleted their pictures together from social media accounts. Also, Shakti has decided to extend his stay in Indonesia by three months, probably to stay away from the situation back home!
We tried contacting the two; while Shakti chose not to comment, Neha denied the news, saying, “That’s not true. Who is spreading this rumour? Shakti and I are together. In fact, I returned from Jakarta only because my visa expired.”
This cute couple first met in 2010 on the sets of a Star Plus production, “Tere Liye” where they played an on-screen couple. Neha was not Shakti’s first love. He was going through a rough patch after a break-up and Neha, as a friend, was by his side. Gradually, they realised that they do not need to seek love anywhere else, and that they are each other’s soulmate.
They delighted their fans by having a roka ceremony in the Goregaon Sports Complex, Mumbai, on June 6, 2014. They even participated together in the last season of ‘Nach Baliye’ together.
