Mumbai-based Kannada film actress Parul Yadav rushed to hospital after being attacked by six stray dogs on Monday evening when she was walking her pet near her apartment on Jogeshwari Road in the suburbs of Mumbai.
She was attacked when she was trying to save her pet from being attacked by the stray dogs. Shockingly, no one came to her rescue.
In what can called as an unexpected incident, the 34-year old actress reportedly suffered injuries to her hands, neck, face, legs and head. She is currently being treated at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. According to reports Parul has a 3-inch deep cut on her head and is likely to be operated for it on Wednesday.
“The actress is in shock. She was taken to Kokilaben Hospital for treatment. Although her wounds are being treated, doctors said she may require surgery. She is likely to be operated on Wednesday.” said Parul’s sister, Sheetal.

Parul was given anti-rabies vaccination at the hospital.
The actress, who is based in Mumbai, started her film career in Tamil and Malayalam. She later debuted in Kannada with Pawan Wadeyar’s “Govindaya Namaha” and followed it up with a series of films, including “Bachchan”, “Uppi2”, “Vaastu Prakara”, and “Killing Veerappan” among others.
The actress had recently signed her next project, a Kannada remake of the Kangana Ranaut-starrer “Queen”.
