Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi, who got married to boyfriend Gaurav Gupta in January this year, has filed a domestic violence case against her husband.
According to reports in Midday, Mandana has also filed domestic violence case against her husband and in-laws. She alleged that her in-laws threw her out of her ‘matrimonial house seven weeks ago.
“I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn’t allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off,” she told Mid-Day.

The 31-year-old model turned actress said in her application that she came to India in 2012 to pursue modelling and acting and met Gaurav through a common friend. After dating for some time, the two got engaged in July 2016 and then tied the knot in January 2017.
Mandana has alleged that she was asked to quit her career after marriage and she was forced to convert to Hinduism before her wedding, which Mandana refused to do.
Things became ugly when Mandana was barred from entering her house. She also alleged harassment by her mother-in-law.
In her petition, Mandana has claimed Rs. 10 lakh as monthly maintenance in addition to a compensation of Rs. 2 crore “for the trauma and agony caused, and loss of career and business.
Mandana Karimi married Gaurav Gupta on January 26 after dating for almost two years. The couple opted for a court wedding, which was followed by a wedding as per the Hindu rituals on March 5.
The case will come up for hearing on July 15 before Andheri metropolitan court.
