It seems like the trouble is not end for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Raees’. Despite Shah Rukh Khan going out of his way and trying his best to make peace with MNS chief Raj Thackeray, the Chhattisgarh wing has now sent out threatening letters to ban Raees from releasing in theaters.
Akshaye Rathi, a leading distributor, took to Twitter to announce that he has received threat letters from the political party’s Chhattisgarh wing.
In the letter, the party leader has warned distributors of dire consequences, if they go ahead with the film’s release on January 25.
Dear @AUThackeray,
We have received this threat letter from your Chhattisgarh unit against playing @iamsrk‘s #Raees. Do you endorse it? pic.twitter.com/RHai71yGZV— Akshaye Rathi (@akshayerathi) January 10, 2017

Rathi also pleaded with the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office to look into the situation and ensure that law and order prevail.
Request all @iamsrk fans to help me bring this to the notice of @AUThackeray. I’m sure he will take action against this nuisance. #Raees https://t.co/k6xvFMi1aM

After the controversy surrounding the release of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, all eyes turned to the SRK action-flick for having Pakistani star Mahira Khan as the leading lady in the film.
Let’s hope that the film doesn’t have to face any complication and it gets released without any problem.
