After facing various protests, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ has been released in cinemas and saw a huge growth in the figures just days after release.
The film has been receiving a lot of love and appreciation from the audience across the quarters. The craze of the film has hit the foreign countries as well.
Yes, recently a family in San Francisco Bay Area reportedly booked an entire theatre to watch the film and all the ladies were dressed up in Padmavati-like ensemble.
The video of them is doing the rounds on social media, where they all were seen dancing to the tunes of Ghoomar.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta shared a video on Twitter and wrote, “San Francisco Bay Area families bought a whole show of the movie theatre (in Sunnyvale, California) to see Padmaavat and there was a dress code – ‘Every one should dress like Padmavati.’ And before the show there was this dancing.”

The magnum opus, based on 16th century poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s Padmavat, stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh.
The film hit the theatres on January 25 amid various protests and has since crossed Rs. 100 crore mark at the box office.
