They looks so good together that Arjun’s grandmother Nirmal Kapoor thought that Parineeti will be a perfect bride for Arjun and they should tie the knot in real life too.

Well now, in an interview with bollywoodlife.com, when Parineeti was asked about the same, she said “Literally everything has been said about that (laughs). It’s a very sweet thing his dadi said genuinely. And that is just because she felt that we looked good together. Or the chemistry or the love story was very believable. And both of us also yes…the love for each other and the friendship is really honest. To find an honest friend, I just value that too much. I just value him too much. So, when that translates on-screen and people like his family members or even my family…The fact that our families are able to forget that both of us are actors and they genuinely believe that ‘both of them look like they are in a love story’, that’s a very positive compliment.” However, she paused right after, looked at Arjun and both of them broke into, “Otherwise, yeh ho nahi payega!”

During the promotion of Namaste England, Arjun Kapoor also reveals that his grandmother found his chemistry apt with Parineeti. “After watching Namaste England’s trailer, dadi said that out of my all co-stars, I look best with onscreen with Parineeti. She thinks Parineeti is the perfect bride for me in real life as well,” Arjun said.

In the same interview, Arjun also talked about the chemistry and bond that he shares with Parineeti and said, “It comes down purely to the comfort created by both of us sub-consciously in the first film. Ismein bhi nok jhok hai, jhagda hai but yeh shaadi shuda couple ki kahaani hai. In a very strange way, what Parma Zoya (in Ishaqzaade) had potential to become, Param and Jasmeet are (in Namaste England). They are still very strong, individual personalities; it’s in a different setting and milieu. So, in a way, it has the reminiscence of Parma-Zoya’s kind of attitude told in a tonality that is a rom-com.”

Namaste England is Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor’s third film together after Ishaqzaade (Arjun’s debut film) and their work-in-progress project Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
