Kaisi Hai Yaariyaan fame Parth Samthaan got embroiled in yet another controversy a few days back when a 20-year-old recently filed a complaint against the actor for allegedly molesting her when she was sixteen, a minor.
He was booked for molestation under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code earlier this year by the Bangur Nagar police for molesting Sushmita Chakroborty, a model. The stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act got added against Parth Lagathe (Parth Samthaan’s real name) after the second victim filed the case.

Now, the actor has now come forward to deny all these charges levied on him. He claims that the girl has manipulated her age to gain sympathy from the court and truth will be out soon. He also requested the media to refrain from publishing any reports on this matter as its quite sensitive.
He issued a statement to the media which says, “I am in constant touch with my legal team and I have already initiated legal proceedings, wherein the Court has granted me ad-interim reliefs. Meanwhile, I am in the process of filing a complaint against Mr. Vikas Gupta and the girl who has made allegations against me, after a span of 3.5 years from the date of the alleged incident and in furtherance, she has also manipulated her age to gain an advantage and sympathy of the Court. But the truth will soon prevail and come out in open. I request the media to refrain from publishing any information about the present highly sensitive matter and act in accordance with law. If the media wishes to print anything in respect of the present matter, I request it to verify the facts and any act in pursuance thereof will be at its sole risk and responsibility.”
