The mythological show will trace the untold story of the fiery goddess. TV actress Pooja Sharma who was seen playing the role of Draupadi in the mythological serials ‘Mahabharat‘ will play Goddess Kaali. Falaq Naaz has roped in to play the role of Goddess Saraswati along with Nikita Sharma and Kanan Malhotra as Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Indra respectively. The show might also star Nikhil Arya as Lord Vishnu.

Last seen on ‘Mahapuran’, Sourabh says TOI, “It gives me immense satisfaction that the makers, who gave me the character of Krishna in ‘Mahabharat’, chose me as Lord Shiva in their new show, considering the fact that both are opposites.”

Ask him if he feels typecast on TV since he has mostly played deities, and he replies, “Not at all. If a creative team can’t visualise me in any other role, it is a mark of their inadequacy, not mine. Also, I have played a variety of roles in my career — be it the youth-based show ‘Remix’, ‘Parichay’, a negative character in ‘Uttaran’ and then anchoring a crime-based show. I have also tried comedy.”
