Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who is also United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador for child rights has recently visits Rohingya refugee camps in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The actress calling the crisis ‘horrific’ and she urged the people to help the children affected by it. The actress also said the world needs to come together to give Rohingya refugee kids a secure future.
The actress took to her Instagram profile to share pics from the field trip on Monday. She wrote about the difficulties that the refugees have to face.

In the pics, Priyanka is seen in a UNICEF t-shirt and with a stole on her head covering it. She is seen interacting with the kids, who she met and greeted with a bright smile.
Priyanka has worked with UNICEF for a decade and was appointed as the national and global Unicef goodwill ambassador for Child Rights in 2010 and 2016 respectively. She promotes causes such as environment, health and education and women’s rights among many others.
Almost 700,000 refugees have fled violence in neighbouring Myanmar and arrived in Cox’s Bazar since August 2017, according to the UN.
