Priyanka Chopra ventured into filmmaking by producing an extremely heartwarming Marathi film called ‘Ventalitor’ directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, under her production banner ‘Purple Pebble Pictures’.

Well, the film recently grabbed three awards for this amazing story for the categories of Best Editing, Best Sound Mixing and also Best Director.

Priyanka who is just a newbie in the field of production is overwhelmed with this news. Her mom Madhu Chopra just informed, how Priyanka Chopra reacted to the news!

As reported in Pinkvilla, Piggy Chops is just not able to handle the happiness and is jumping with joy! Madhu Chopra told the entertainment portal, “I am very happy, it was Rajesh Mapuskar’s debut and what work he has done! The subject was simple and Rajesh’s way of telling the story was applauded and loved by the critics.”  Adding further about her diva daughter she said, ” Priyanka was jumping with joy, when I told her this big news. She isn’t here right now. When she comes to India in end of April, we will celebrate the major win of this film.”

Ventilator stars director Ashutosh Gowariker in the lead supported by other gems of Marathi film industry like Jitendra Joshi, Satish Alekar, Sulabha Arya, Swati Chitnis, Viju Khote and even Boman Irani in a guest appearance. Produced by Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebbles Pictures, the film revolves around the relationship between a son and his father.
