R Madhavan has created quite a fan brigade after starring in films like “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” and “Rang De Basanti”. As a lover boy, the actor charmed hearts onscreen and the imprint hasn’t yet faded away from minds.
In 2001, he made us go weak in the knees with his charming lover boy act in “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein”. Initially the film did not work at the box-office but slowly, R.Madhavan and Dia Mirza‘s electric chemistry and the movie’s amazing soundtrack made the movie a cult classic.
Sixteen years later, the actor still continues to make our hearts beat faster. Recently, the actor took to Instagram to share a post-shower selfie, sending his fans into a frenzy.
Sun-kissed and fresh as a daisy, he glistened as he flaunting his bare chest. “Morning light post a shower… feeling fresh after a good long nights sleep.. after the long travels,” he captioned the photo.
No sooner had he uploaded his picture, thousands of comments from his female fans flooded his official profile. From asking him to be “not so hot” to saying, “he’s so beautiful, it hurts!” people simply went all out on Twitter and Instagram. One user even went on to tag him as “one of the most handsome south Indian actor we have,” and another one said: “U r my childhood crush n still continue to be… my husband will be so jealous of u.” The humble actor retweeted all the sweet comments and even wrote back to them personally.

Even Maddy’s “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” co-star Dia Mirza felt it too! She also comment on actor’s pic.

In less than 24 hours, the photo has gone viral, with close to 96,510 likes. The comments section is flooded with compliments from fans, who cannot get over how hot the actor looks.
Madhavan, who will be seen next in the Tamil film “Vikram Vedha” with Vijay Sethupathi.
While we want to see Madhavan doing more of such romantic roles, he says, his days as the chocolate boy of Bollywood are over.
“I’m done with chocolate boy roles. Although my mind is still young, my body is not the same. When I run on screen, my body runs like a 48-year-old man. I even told my directors Pushkar and Gayathri that we should head to Switzerland and shoot a colorful movie like a Yash Raj Films production. I would love to play those roles, but I’m not quite sure now.”
The film “Vikram Vedha”, helmed by director duo Pushkar-Gayathri, is set to release on July 7.
