The trailer of Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev has been released. The film stars Rahul Bhatt as Dev, Richa Chadha as Paro & Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandni.
The trailer showcases a hard-hitting tale of love, addiction, and power. The fiercely political movie follows a path contrary to the plot of the classic novel Devdas and talks about the protagonist’s addiction and his journey from a ‘Daas’ to ‘Dev’.
If Devdas was a journey from a noble person to a Das, this is a journey from a Das, a person who is a slave to his addictions and to the dynastic ambitions of his family to Dev.

Set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh, the film also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Vipin Sharma, Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap in pivotal roles.
Daas Dev is produced by Sanjeev Kumar and Saptarishi Cinevision. It is slated to release on 23 March.
