Rajinikanth can be called as a ‘demi god’ of the South industry. And now, the actor who was on a hunt for an actress for his next film has finalized the same – he found that in none other than Huma Qureshi.
Huma will be playing the 66-year-old superstar’s love interest in the film, produced by actor Dhanush under his home production Wunderbar Films.

The source said, “The makers were looking for someone with a strong screen presence as it’s a performance oriented role. Huma will play Rajinikanth’s love interest. She is really excited. They start shooting in Mumbai from May 28 and Huma will start prep soon.”
Directed by PA Ranjith, the film is scheduled to go on floors by the end of this month.
Earlier, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and Radhika Apte have worked opposite Rajinikanth.
Well, currently Rajini himself is busy with his fan interaction spanning over five days at Raghavendra Hall in Kottayam.
