As soon as he shared this news, most of his fans figured that he is pulling an April Fools prank, many bashed him for not being sensitive about the issue. A user wrote, “You’re sick if you’re joking. Your virus is called mentally unstable virus”
The Filmmaker then tweeted that it was just an April Fools Day joke by saying, “Sorry to disappoint, but now he tells me it’s a April Fool joke Flushed face it’s his fault and not mine.”

In his next tweet, RGV offered an apology in case his joke hurt anyone. He wrote, “Anyway I am just trying to make light of a grim situation but the joke is on me and if I dint offend anyone I sincerely apologise to them.”
