Ramanand Sagar’s popular TV serial ‘Ramayan‘ featuring Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia emerged as the highest watched show in the world.
Ramayan was aired on Doordarshan during the lock down period. The last episode was aired on Saturday, May 2 on the national channel.
However, on popular demand and to entertain the audience once again, Ramayan is going on air once again, starting from today, Monday, May 4 at 7:30 pm onwards this time on Star Plus.

‘Ramayan‘ became the world’s most-watched show on April 16 with 7.7 crore viewership.
Originally aired on the TV channel from January 25, 1987 to July 31, 1988, it remained the most watched show back then as well.
