Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York undergoing medical treatment for an undisclosed illness. The actor flew to the United States with wife Neetu Kapoor in September last year.
Since the actor went the New York for treatment, his children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, have been visiting him from time to time.
And now, Rishi’s elder brother Randhir left for New York on Wednesday night to visit the actor.
Randhir Kapoor leaves for New York
Randhir Kapoor has left for the US for three weeks and he will stay with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher and Sonali Bendre have visited Rishi Kapoor in New York.
Speculation was rife that Rishi has been detected with advanced stage of cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy in the US. In October, Randhir Kapoor in an interview to PTI said, “We don’t know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn’t know what he’s suffering from. He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to advanced stage. Let him undergo tests peacefully; whatever the results, we will let everyone know.”

On the work front, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in Nandita Das’ Manto. He also appeared in a comedy-drama by Netflix titled Rajma Chawal.
