Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York undergoing medical treatment there. The actor recently flew to the United States with wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor.
Randhir Kapoor reacts on Rishi’s health
Before leaving for the US, Rishi Kapoor posted this: “I am taking a short leave of absencefrom work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years ‘plus’ of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”
This tweet left his fans and colleagues worried and speculating about the actor’s health. Soon, many reports started doings the rounds that he might be suffering from cancer, and has not been keeping well for long.
Recently, Kapoor’s wife, actor Neetu Kapoor posted a photo on Instagram, where the entire family — Rishi, Neetu along with their children Ranbir Kapoor accompanied by girlfriend Alia Bhatt, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni along with husband Bharat Sahni and daughter Samara Sahni, were seen enjoying New Year’s celebrations.
She captioned the pic as, “Happy 2019. No resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health.”
These lines of Neetu shed off a major hint about Rishi being diagnosed with cancer.
However, the actor’s brother spoke about his health and gave all update. Randhir Kapoor spoke to Hindustan Times and said, “I don’t know much about it but this much I can tell you that Rishi is doing well. Let people say whatever they want to. That he is doing is well is evident from the photo that I, too, have seen. He is having a good time with everyone and has stepped out to enjoy a good meal. He will soon be coming back to India. We are looking forward to that right now.”
Rishi was last seen in the film Mulk in 2018 alongside Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar, Ashutosh Rana, Rajat Kapoor and Neena Gupta.
